Dr. techn. Josef Zelisko

Zelisko, which was founded in the year 1918 by Dr. Josef Zelisko, stands for 100 years of service in the economy and industry.

1923

Start of the construction of the company building on today´s site

1928

Zelisko develops the Evolute Transformer.

1935

Zelisko starts the production of fretsaws, the product range includes woodworking machines, telecommunication products and energy-saving lamps among many other things

1945

Start of the production of current and voltage transformers

1957

Setting up of the signal construction for level-crossing protection systems

1959

Patent for moisture-proof microphone-capsules

1963

Chain milling machines for carpentry workshops and door producers

1970

Sale of the majority stake to the Knorr-Bremse GmbH,
which acquires 100% in 1988

First ticket printer for local public transport (Postbus)

Production of telephony products and woodworking machines discontinued in the 1990s

1994

First use of a pressure gelation machine in the transformer construction

First type approval for LED railway signals

Acquisition of AEG instrument transformer division, Berlin

2005

Launch of FSD5 as first all-in-one system for local public transport with ticket sale and on-board computer function

2006

Approval of the computer controlled level-crossing-protection system RBUET Oe

2007

ITCS control center for bus operators in the local public transport

Start of the transformer production in Holice (CZ)
