At the start of work, the driver clocks in on his/her vehicle. This is done by entering the driver, line and route numbers into the FSD5. Through the company-internal radio system (optional: WLAN or GPRS), the FSD5 sends a data package to the ZELISKO RBL-server. On the ZELISKO RBL-server in the head office, the bus is now shown as registered. Furthermore, the driver is shown in green colour on a separate work start user interface. If no registration is made until the time of starting work, the traffic manager will receive a message. This message includes the name of the driver, the relevant route, ourse, the scheduled starting time of work as well as the driver’s phone number. On the work start user interface, the driver will be shown in red.
Schedule comparison: planned vs. actual
The planned vs. actual schedule comparison is based on logical localising, optionally coupled with GPS-localising and carried out in the vehicle. The display informs the driver on earliness and delays. In the on-board computer, a time-matrix is saved that can be adjusted in the Back-Office System 32.
If a delay of, for example, more than 2 minutes is detected, the head office will receive a message that the vehicle is delayed.
